Lin Shen

Lin Shen at Peking University Cancer Hospital is a leading Chinese oncologist in gastric cancer who has led important clinical trials evaluating immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and chemotherapy in Chinese gastric cancer patients. His research has contributed to the Asian evidence base for nivolumab and other checkpoint inhibitors in gastric cancer, and he has evaluated Chinese-developed PD-1 inhibitors such as sintilimab in gastric cancer. He has been involved in understanding the distinct biology of gastric cancer in China, including higher rates of EBV-positive and Lauren diffuse-type tumors. His work bridges global and Asian-specific gastric cancer clinical research.
