Sai Kiang Lim

Sai Kiang Lim has pioneered the development of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes as scalable therapeutic products, establishing GMP-compatible manufacturing processes for clinical-grade exosome production and demonstrating their therapeutic efficacy in preclinical cancer and regenerative medicine models. His research at A*STAR Singapore has addressed the critical manufacturing challenges of EV therapy including scalability, reproducibility, and quality control, developing bioreactor-based production systems that can generate therapeutic quantities of standardized exosomes. His work is enabling the clinical translation of EV-based therapies through industrial-scale manufacturing.
