Larry Norton

Larry Norton developed the Norton-Simon mathematical model of cancer growth kinetics that provided the theoretical basis for dose-dense chemotherapy scheduling, which subsequent clinical trials demonstrated improved outcomes in breast cancer. His decade-long leadership of MSK's breast cancer program drove multiple milestone clinical investigations from dose-dense anthracycline-taxane regimens to novel targeted therapy combinations.
