👥Biography 个人简介
Eric Lander was a principal leader of the Human Genome Project and subsequently founded the Broad Institute, creating the infrastructure that enabled The Cancer Genome Atlas and other large-scale cancer genomics programs that have fundamentally transformed oncology. His contributions to cancer genome characterization have identified thousands of cancer driver genes, mutational signatures, and therapeutic vulnerabilities across all major cancer types. His work establishing large-scale genomics as a tool for systematic biological discovery laid the foundation for the multi-omics revolution in cancer research.
