Lajos Pusztai

Lajos Pusztai at Yale is a pioneering genomicist and clinical researcher who has defined the molecular landscape of triple-negative breast cancer and developed genomic predictors of neoadjuvant chemotherapy response. His work on transcriptomic subtypes of TNBC, including BL1/BL2/LAR classifications, has influenced therapeutic targeting strategies. He has contributed to studies of immunotherapy in TNBC and identified immune gene signatures predictive of pCR and survival. He leads translational correlative studies embedded in large cooperative group TNBC trials.
