Leontien Kremer is a leading European researcher on childhood cancer late effects at the Princess Maxima Center whose work on anthracycline-related cardiotoxicity has been foundational for cardiac monitoring guidelines. She led the International Guideline Harmonization Group (IGHG) effort to create evidence-based, internationally harmonized long-term follow-up guidelines for childhood cancer survivors. Her systematic reviews and meta-analyses of late effects have provided the rigorous evidence base underlying current European and international survivorship recommendations.
