Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown

Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown is a microbiome engineer whose fecal microbiota transplant research has demonstrated lasting microbiome restructuring with implications for cancer prevention through improved gut barrier function and immune modulation. Her work on microbial ecology and environmental factors that shape cancer-relevant gut communities bridges environmental engineering and oncology. She leads microbiome-based therapeutic development at the Biodesign Center for Health Through Microbiomes.
