Rob Knight

Rob Knight is a computational microbiome pioneer whose development of QIIME and the Earth Microbiome Project has enabled large-scale characterization of cancer-associated microbial communities across the gut-brain axis. His bioinformatics tools are used worldwide to identify microbial signatures associated with cancer susceptibility, treatment response, and neurological complications. He leads multi-omics integration approaches connecting microbiome data with host cancer phenotypes.
