Klaus Pantel

Klaus Pantel is the world's foremost expert on circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and their role in metastasis. His pioneering research characterized the biology of CTCs, including their epithelial-mesenchymal transition states, dormancy mechanisms, and capacity to seed distant metastases.
