Eilon Kirson is a co-inventor of TTFields technology and has elucidated fundamental mechanisms by which alternating electric fields disrupt cancer cell division. His preclinical research demonstrated that intermediate-frequency electric fields selectively interfere with mitotic spindle formation and cytokinesis in dividing cancer cells. He has advanced the scientific understanding of TTFields biophysics that underpins clinical applications.
