She has led studies on vitamin D, aspirin, and dietary factors in colorectal cancer prevention and outcomes, and investigates the alarming rise of early-onset colorectal cancer in younger adults. Her research integrates epidemiological, molecular, and clinical approaches to understand why colorectal cancer incidence is increasing in people under 50. She directs the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center at Dana-Farber.
