👥Biography 个人简介

Kerry Courneya is a world leader in exercise oncology research, having conducted pivotal randomized controlled trials establishing the benefits of exercise for cancer patients and survivors. His CARE trial demonstrated that aerobic and resistance exercise during chemotherapy for breast cancer improves fitness, body composition, quality of life, and potentially chemotherapy completion rates. He has evaluated aerobic versus resistance exercise modalities, exercise dose-response relationships, and exercise timing relative to cancer treatment. His influential research program has helped establish exercise as a standard supportive care intervention in oncology practice.
