Kerry Campbell

Kerry Campbell has contributed to natural killer (NK) cell biology and their role in cancer immunosurveillance. NK cells are innate lymphocytes that kill cancer cells without requiring prior sensitization, and his work on activating and inhibitory NK cell receptors (including KIR) and on strategies to harness NK cells for cancer therapy has been important for understanding innate anti-tumor immunity and NK cell-based cancer treatment approaches.
