Kenneth Buetow has contributed to the development of cancer genomic data infrastructure, including early contributions to the NCI Cancer Data Commons and TCGA data platforms that make genomic data from thousands of cancer patients accessible for research. His work on data standards, interoperability, and federated data science infrastructure for cancer genomics has enabled the large-scale analyses that underpin precision oncology.
