Kenneth Bhatt has contributed to the molecular understanding of HER2 receptor biology and the development of novel HER2-targeting biologics. His research characterized the structural basis of HER2 dimerization and how pertuzumab disrupts HER2-HER3 heterodimerization to block PI3K-AKT signaling. He has also investigated biparatopic HER2 antibodies that simultaneously bind two non-overlapping HER2 epitopes for enhanced receptor downregulation. His industry contributions have accelerated the development of next-generation HER2-targeting therapeutics.
