Kenneth Anderson is a world-renowned multiple myeloma specialist who discovered the activity of thalidomide and bortezomib in myeloma, transforming the treatment landscape. He has spent decades investigating the bone marrow microenvironment and how it supports myeloma cell survival and drug resistance. His laboratory at Dana-Farber developed novel therapeutic strategies targeting myeloma-stromal cell interactions. He continues to lead international myeloma clinical trials and translational research programs.
