Colleen Kelly has advanced the clinical application of FMT in cancer patients, conducting trials of microbiome restoration for C. difficile infection in immunocompromised oncology patients and investigating the safety and efficacy of oral capsule FMT formulations. Her work on microbiome therapeutics regulatory pathways has informed FDA guidance for live biotherapeutic products in oncology.
