Mark Kay is a gene therapy pioneer whose laboratory has developed AAV and RNAi strategies for liver-directed therapy including hepatocellular carcinoma. His work has advanced the field of in vivo RNA silencing in cancer. He directs the Program in Human Gene Therapy at Stanford.
