👥Biography 个人简介

Dan Kaufman is a pioneer in deriving functional natural killer cells from human pluripotent stem cells, establishing the foundational protocols that enabled the development of iPSC-derived CAR-NK cell therapy products. His work at the University of California San Diego demonstrated that iPSC-derived NK cells exhibit potent anti-tumor activity comparable to peripheral blood NK cells while offering unlimited scalability. His research laid the groundwork for Fate Therapeutics' iPSC-derived cell therapy platform including FT596 and subsequent clinical candidates.
