Karin Rodland has led contributions to the NCI Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) — a landmark program integrating proteomics with genomics (proteogenomics) across multiple cancer types. CPTAC has demonstrated that protein expression patterns reveal cancer biology not captured by genomic analysis alone, identify new therapeutic targets, and define prognostically important cancer subtypes, establishing a new paradigm for comprehensive cancer characterization.
