👥Biography 个人简介

Karim Bhatt studies how tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are reprogrammed by tumor signals to support cancer progression. His research focuses on epigenetic and transcriptional mechanisms that drive TAM polarization toward immunosuppressive phenotypes. He has identified key signaling pathways that tumors exploit to co-opt myeloid cells and has developed approaches to re-educate TAMs for anti-tumor function. His translational work aims to combine myeloid reprogramming with checkpoint immunotherapy.
