Karen Kelly

Karen Kelly is a thoracic oncologist specializing in limited-stage SCLC and the integration of thoracic radiation with systemic therapy. She has contributed to studies optimizing chemoradiation scheduling, thoracic radiation dose and volume, and quality of life outcomes for SCLC patients. Her research addresses the efficacy and tolerability of topotecan-based second-line therapy and the role of prophylactic cranial irradiation in limited-stage disease. She has contributed to SWOG cooperative group trials and national guideline development for SCLC.
