Jun Ma

Jun Ma is one of China's foremost experts on nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a malignancy with particularly high incidence in southern China and Southeast Asia due to EBV association and genetic susceptibility factors. Her research has contributed to optimizing radiation therapy techniques for NPC including intensity-modulated radiation therapy that significantly reduces late toxicity while maintaining high local control rates, and to establishing induction chemotherapy plus concurrent chemoradiation as the standard approach for locally advanced NPC.
