Jun-Jie Gu

Jun-Jie Gu at Roswell Park studies cancer disparities in Asian American populations, including the high rates of hepatocellular carcinoma attributable to hepatitis B in Asian Americans and the underutilization of cancer screening in these communities. His research on culturally appropriate cancer prevention interventions and understanding cancer epidemiology in diverse Asian subpopulations contributes to reducing cancer disparities in this often-overlooked minority group.
