👥Biography 个人简介

Judah Folkman proposed the revolutionary hypothesis that tumors require angiogenesis for growth and metastasis, founding the entire field of anti-angiogenic cancer therapy. His work led to the identification of angiogenic factors and the development of bevacizumab and other anti-VEGF therapies now used across multiple cancer types. Though initially met with skepticism, his vision transformed cancer treatment and is recognized as one of the most important contributions to oncology.
