Jonathan Fletcher

Jonathan Fletcher at Brigham and Women's has made contributions to the genetic basis of GIST and sarcomas — including characterizing the spectrum of KIT and PDGFRA mutations in GIST and their differential sensitivity to imatinib, and describing chromosomal translocations in sarcoma subtypes. His work on GIST secondary resistance mutations to imatinib has been important for understanding and managing treatment resistance.
