John Seymour at Peter MacCallum co-led the MURANO trial of venetoclax plus rituximab in relapsed/refractory CLL and has been instrumental in venetoclax's development across CLL and other B cell malignancies. His contributions to Australian and international CLL research, his role in early venetoclax trials, and his leadership of Australian hematology have made him one of the most influential CLL researchers globally.
