Charles Levenback

Charles Levenback is a gynecologic surgeon at MD Anderson who contributed foundational work to validating sentinel lymph node biopsy for vulvar cancer in the United States, publishing one of the early prospective series that helped support adoption of this technique. He has also contributed to outcomes research on quality of life after vulvar cancer surgery, including the significant morbidity of inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy, and has participated in multi-institutional GOG trials. He serves on surgical oncology boards and has trained numerous fellows in gynecologic surgical oncology.
