Johanna Bendell

Johanna Bendell is a prolific clinical trialist in gastrointestinal oncology who has led numerous first-in-human and pivotal trials in colorectal cancer. She has contributed to development of BRAF inhibitor combinations in BRAF-mutated colorectal cancer and to immunotherapy combinations in MSI and MSS colorectal tumors. As Chief Medical Officer at Sarah Cannon Research Institute, she oversees one of the world's most active oncology clinical trial networks. She has been involved in the clinical development of multiple agents that received FDA approval in colorectal cancer.
