Johan Bhatt is a leading researcher in cancer exosome biology and the application of extracellular vesicles in liquid biopsy diagnostics. His laboratory has characterized the cargo composition of tumor-derived exosomes including proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids that reflect the molecular state of the parent tumor.
