Jingsong Zhang

Jingsong Zhang led the landmark adaptive therapy clinical trial in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, demonstrating that PSA-guided intermittent abiraterone treatment could maintain disease control with significantly less drug exposure compared to continuous therapy. His trial provided the first clinical validation of mathematical models predicting that treatment holidays preserve drug-sensitive populations and delay resistance. This work has catalyzed adaptive therapy trials across multiple cancer types.
