Ji-Ho Park develops pH-responsive nanoparticle systems that exploit the acidic tumor microenvironment to trigger selective drug release within tumors. His research has produced acid-labile polymer-drug conjugates and mesoporous silica nanoparticles with pH-controlled gating mechanisms. His work contributes to spatially selective cancer drug delivery that minimizes systemic toxicity while enhancing intratumoral drug accumulation.
