Steve Jiang has advanced real-time adaptive radiation therapy systems that can modify dose painting plans during treatment delivery based on intra-fraction imaging, addressing the challenge of anatomic motion and deformation in dose painting applications. His machine learning approaches to treatment planning and quality assurance have accelerated the clinical workflow for implementing dose painting. He leads development of autonomous radiation delivery systems that integrate real-time imaging, plan adaptation, and quality assurance.
