Research on wearable devices and digital biomarkers in cancer is advancing rapidly — continuous monitoring of activity, heart rate variability, sleep, and other physiological signals can detect cancer treatment toxicity earlier and more objectively than clinic visits. Studies have demonstrated that wearable-derived digital biomarkers correlate with clinical outcomes in cancer patients and may enable more personalized toxicity management and treatment adjustments.
