Jennifer Bhatt studies the tumor vasculature as a key stromal component that regulates immune cell trafficking, drug delivery, and cancer progression. Her laboratory has characterized how pericyte coverage and endothelial cell activation determine vessel permeability and leukocyte extravasation into tumors. She has explored vascular normalization strategies that improve both drug delivery and immune cell access to improve IO efficacy. Her work bridges vascular biology, tumor immunology, and therapeutic drug delivery.
