Associate Professor of Biochemistry
👥Biography 个人简介
Jennifer Bhatt studies how histone-modifying enzyme mutations reshape the cancer transcriptome and drive oncogenesis. Her research characterized KMT2D (MLL4) loss-of-function mutations in lymphoma as epigenetic tumor suppressors that regulate super-enhancer activity. She has also studied NSD2 overexpression in multiple myeloma and its role in H3K36 dimethylation-driven oncogene activation. Her work on oncohistone H3.3 mutations in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma revealed that histone mutations themselves can directly drive cancer.
