Jeffrey Sosman

Jeffrey Sosman is a melanoma and immunotherapy specialist who has contributed to identifying transcriptomic signatures including the innate anti-PD-1 resistance (IPRES) gene expression signature predicting resistance to checkpoint inhibitors in melanoma. His research examines the interplay between BRAF-targeted therapy and immunotherapy and molecular determinants of sustained IO response. He has contributed to cooperative group melanoma trials and biomarker analyses from landmark IO trials. Sosman is a leading expert on predictive biomarker development for immunotherapy specifically in melanoma.
