Jeffrey Meyerhardt

Jeffrey Meyerhardt leads survivorship and lifestyle modification research in colorectal cancer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has demonstrated that physical activity and dietary factors significantly influence outcomes in patients receiving adjuvant colon cancer therapy. His epidemiological and interventional studies have shaped recommendations for lifestyle counseling integrated with adjuvant treatment. He has contributed to cooperative group trials on adjuvant CRC therapy and is co-chair of CALGB/SWOG 80702 examining celecoxib in stage III colon cancer. Meyerhardt also leads national educational efforts on CRC survivorship care.
