Jeffrey Hubbell
PhD
Eugene Bell Professor of Tissue Engineering
👥Biography 个人简介
Jeffrey Hubbell is a pioneer in biomaterial-based nanoparticle cancer vaccine engineering, developing polymer and lipid nanoparticle platforms that co-deliver tumor antigens and adjuvants to antigen-presenting cells in lymph nodes with precise control over release kinetics and immune activation profiles. His oxidation-sensitive polymer nanoparticles that target antigen to the mannose receptor on dendritic cells have shown potent anti-tumor efficacy in preclinical models. He has developed injectable hydrogel scaffolds that create local immune-priming niches for sustained cancer vaccine delivery. His engineering approaches to vaccine formulation are bridging the gap between laboratory immunology and clinical cancer vaccine development.
