Jeanne Tie at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre has led landmark trials demonstrating that ctDNA-guided decision-making can improve outcomes in colorectal cancer. She was the principal investigator of the DYNAMIC trials showing that withholding adjuvant chemotherapy based on negative post-operative ctDNA is safe in stage II colon cancer. Her work has advanced ctDNA from research tool to clinical decision-support.
