James Perry led the practice-changing NCIC CE.6/EORTC 26062 trial showing that short-course radiotherapy plus concurrent and adjuvant temozolomide improves survival over radiotherapy alone in elderly glioblastoma patients. His work established age-adapted treatment standards for older GBM patients. He continues to lead Canadian and international neuro-oncology cooperative trials.
