Siddhartha Jaiswal first defined clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential and linked it to increased risk of hematologic malignancy and cardiovascular disease. His work reshaped understanding of age-related somatic mutation accumulation. He continues to investigate inflammatory mechanisms linking CHIP to atherosclerosis.
