👥Biography 个人简介

Jacob Bhatt studies JAK1 and JAK2 loss-of-function mutations as drivers of acquired resistance to immune checkpoint blockade. His research has defined how disruption of the IFN-gamma signaling axis allows tumors to escape T cell-mediated killing despite PD-1 pathway blockade. He has characterized JAK mutation frequencies across tumor types and their clinical implications for IO outcomes. His work informs biomarker strategies to identify patients at risk for JAK-mediated IO resistance.
