Danny Indelicato

Danny Indelicato has advanced proton therapy dose painting techniques that exploit the physical advantages of proton beams to deliver heterogeneous dose distributions conforming to biologically defined target volumes while maximally sparing normal tissues. His work in pediatric proton therapy has been particularly impactful, optimizing dose distributions to minimize late effects in growing children. He leads clinical trials evaluating functional imaging-guided proton dose painting for pediatric and adult solid tumors.
