Ido Amit

Ido Amit developed MARS-seq and other massively parallel single-cell RNA sequencing technologies that have enabled comprehensive profiling of immune cell states within the tumor microenvironment at unprecedented resolution. His laboratory has produced definitive single-cell atlases of tumor-infiltrating immune cells across cancer types, revealing previously unrecognized myeloid and lymphoid cell states that influence immunotherapy response. He has integrated single-cell transcriptomics with epigenomics and proteomics to create multi-modal maps of tumor ecosystem heterogeneity. His technological and biological contributions have fundamentally shaped our understanding of immune cell diversity in cancer.
