Iannis Aifantis at NYU has contributed to understanding chromatin regulation in leukemia, particularly how NOTCH signaling interacts with chromatin regulators in T-ALL, and how aberrant epigenetic programs drive leukemia stem cell maintenance. His work identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities in chromatin regulatory networks in leukemia has contributed to identifying novel treatment targets.
