Hyun Cheol Chung

Hyun Cheol Chung is a gastric cancer specialist at Yonsei Cancer Center who has contributed to validating S-1 adjuvant therapy data in Korean patient populations and examining Korean-specific gastric cancer outcomes with adjuvant chemotherapy. His research addresses implementation of East Asian gastric cancer evidence in Korean clinical practice and contributes to Korean cancer society guidelines. He participates in Asian cooperative oncology groups studying adjuvant strategies and novel systemic therapies for gastric cancer. Chung leads a multidisciplinary gastric cancer program with close integration of surgical and medical oncology at Yonsei.
