Hugo Aerts at Dana-Farber and Harvard is one of the world's foremost researchers in computational imaging and radiomics with landmark publications on CT radiomics in non-small cell lung cancer. His 2014 Nature Communications paper established the foundation for clinical radiomics across multiple cancer types. He leads the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) program and develops deep learning algorithms for cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment response assessment. His work bridges quantitative imaging sciences with genomics and precision oncology.
