👥Biography 个人简介

Dr. Howard Temin was a Nobel Prize-winning virologist who co-discovered reverse transcriptase with David Baltimore, establishing the central dogma exception that RNA can be copied into DNA. His provirus hypothesis and work on RNA tumor viruses provided the conceptual framework for understanding how retroviruses integrate oncogenes into host genomes and contributed foundationally to the discovery of proto-oncogenes and the molecular biology of cancer.
