Howard Fine has investigated intratumoral oncolytic virus delivery for malignant brain tumors and contributed to early-phase trials of DNX-2401 (delta-24-RGD), a conditionally replicating adenovirus for GBM. His research has explored the immunological consequences of oncolytic virus therapy in the CNS tumor microenvironment and the challenge of overcoming the blood-brain barrier and immunosuppressive TME in GBM.
